mabe the huge rat is not a good idea, she already has one (she posted it on the oficial forum) but a nice black plague from the website with stuffed germs and virus could be a nice idea ^^

I had looked for a straight jacket on ebay but it's unbelievably expensive =/ shall we try to sew one from an usual jacket or some old long sleeves t-shirt?

Dearest Muffins,

For those three of you who haven't found out on
your own, it is quite true: I've contributed fiddles to a devastatingly
beautiful song on the new album of my devastatingly fabulous friend,
the lady Otep. Those of you who chanced to catch
Otep's live camera feed that day saw me writing out the score at the
mixing desk, playing eighty violin parts (you hadn't seen my baby, the
old wooden fiddle, for a while...), and eating banana chips (Basil's
favorite -- he is sleeping in my handbag right now, btw...).

Ahhh....what
a trip to be back in Hollywood...salty sea air and palm trees -- all of
the things that I woke up to and so adored before being locked up...I'm
not allowed to stay very long as I've only been granted a two-week
pass, and, besides, the Plague Rats get depressed when I'm away, though
fLee and Belly (Ms. Mini-fLee) gave them much love and attention during
my absence from my cell...Belly is just a wee little lady (though still
a fully committed member of the Asylum Army) and calls Sir Edward "Sir
Eppers." I've just been informed that she's written a song about Sir E.
and his faithful sidekick, Basil, whose name Belly can pronounce
perfectly well.

Whilst in the City of Angeles, I witnessed
Captain Maggot's show with her own band, "Insects Vs. Robots," and you
all simply must give them a listen (Google them) because they honestly
blew my feeble little mind...I twirled around the floor all night like
an idiot and enjoyed every minute of it. Oh! And best of all was seeing
that a troup of Muffins had come out to support our Captain! To those
who came, I was elated to meet you, and Maggot was as well. I had fully
and sincerely intended to be at L vs. R's gallery show just a few
nights later, but after being plied with margaritas by a dear friend as
well as a very generous bartender (that is a shameful lie -- I plied
myself...), I was in no state to attend much of anything besides the
bed, in which I was to be joined by my Captain a short while later
(jealous??). You knew all the Crumpets slept together, right?

And
so, I've collected my seashells, filled my combat boots with sand,
purchased some jingle-jangles on the Venice Beach Boardwalk (with which
I have adorned myself and can now be heard ten miles away), and have
now returned home to my old familiar cell a happier and healthier
Wayward Victorian Girl.

See you sooner than you think, Muffins;)!

The Asylum has added a smattering of new items to our junk yard sale! All items were made and screen-printed by meeeee, and include a few of my sample shirts and tanks bearing one of my newest designs, and the one I've been planning for a very long time now, "ROLLING SCONE." As I said in my last post, all are handmade individually and so they are all different and "special." There are also some new trinkets that started out as gifts I made for my Crumpets, but then multiplied at midnight to produce a few extra just for YOU Muffins.

Oh, hey, pssst...if you end up representing Rolling Scone by wearing a t-shirt or tacking on one of these fine patches and such, you will actually be the very first to advertise and announce to the world the existence of the soon-to-be-published Official Asylum News Source, Rolling Scone Magazine (see here). There is a lot more going on these days than you know about;)...

Par contre j'en ai marre des ventes Ebay, je sais que c'est pour la tournée... Mais on ne peut jamais en profiter. Une nouvelle petite boutique en ligne avec de nouvelles choses serait la bienvenue.

En tout cas c'est mignon comme tout ces petites broches ...

Han j'avoue j'aimerais vraiment qu'Emilie ouvre un magasin en ligne, avec des produits illimités (façon de parler) par exemple des patches ou des bagdes... Comme ce que fait Dr. Steel qui vend 4 patches pour $20 sur son site officiel... Car moi aussi j'en ai marre de ne jamais profiter de petites choses qu'Emilie vend sur eBay, surtout pour ce genre de petits objets... T.T

Updates on the final (!!!) release date of the Asylum book are soon to come, but since we're being all literary and shiz, I've just now put my ancient and archived poetry book ("Your Sugar Sits Untouched") up for sale on the shopping section of my website as both a Digital Download of the audio version, and as an E-Book of the actual pages, which is the first time such a thing has been made available in ages, so now you can print your own copy on pretty pink paper that smells like cheese.



Of course, this is a mere sign of things to come, where complete albums and other merch will be available at last directly from www.EmilieAutumn.com.

So much more later, including the announcement of the Chicago Book Reading/Muffin Meetup (those of you Twitterers know what I'm talking about...).

"Your Sugar Sits Untouched" était sorti en édition limité à l'époque c'est ça ?

Enfin une bonne nouvelle ! D'ailleurs, je suis allé sur son site, et je me suis rendu compte qu'il y a eu des modifications... par exemple la partie "media" est en construction, la partie "music" a été modifiée, ainsi que la partie "shop" (avec un jolie logo en plus), si je ne me trompe, la partie "story" aussi a été modifiée, la partie "press" est aussi en construction, etc. Donc on peut constater des changements... peut-être une remise en question et un ménage de printemps ? Qui sait, pour une fois, peut-être qu'Emilie nous prépare un truc de vraiment bien ?

J'espère purée, depuis le temps, même le site officiel commençait à mourir !

Je sens qu'il va falloir mettre des sous de côté...

Son livre de poème Your Sugar Sits Untouched est sortie en version physique il y a longtemps, en édition limitée, et n'existe plus dorénavant. Ce qu'Emilie explique dans son message, c'est qu'il est disponible en téléchargement mp3 (mais ça depuis longtemps aussi, on le savait déjà), et que maintenant, on peut le télécharger en e-book, c'est-à-dire en fichier .pdf à imprimer chez soi ou à lire sur son ordinateur.
