Um, About Last Night.... There are no known pictures from last night (thankfully). So this post is brought to you by some trouble making girls on top of a statue in Berlin. Namely, Aprella, Contessa and me. What I can tell you about the last 24 hours.... *Laundry was done. Hallelujah. We pulled our suitcases off the bus and just sat in the parking lot sorting our clothes out. We are true gypsies of the road, sleeping on our treasures and airing out our dirty laundry for all to see. Now that's rock and roll *Glamour!* *Captain Maggot cut my bangs. I waited until she was sober, which happens somewhere during mid-afternoon. She did a damn fine job. *We got dressed up and did the book reading with Emilie. The crowd was great and we were all fresh and showered. WOO! AND LUCINA joined us!! *Afterwards, because the bus call was pushed until 4am, we decided we might as well get dressed up and go dancing.... * We paid Paul (our awesome crew guy) five euro to dance in a cage on the dance floor. * After Dolores bought me a tequila and then Ewa bought me a tequila (have I mentioned how much I love them?) - we all ended up joining him. * At one point in the night, Aprella was holding onto me in the hardcore metal room whipping her long, blonde hair all over the dance floor and swirling me around until we collapsed in giggles. * Dolores, Ewa, Aprella and I were screaming lyrics to some old metal songs at the top of our lungs. * Em decided she was going to mess with all the goth kids and we ran onto the dance floor and tried to get everyone to hold hands and dance with us in a circle and then fall on the floor and pretend we were rats. * We danced like crazy - incorporating the "feed the chickens" dance from Contessa's bollywood video into as many things as we could. * We piled on the bus at 4am and then Em and I attacked a bunch of celery and peanut butter in the back lounge. We do attempt to be semi-healthy. We talked until 6am and I passed out in my clothes with all my make-up on. * I woke up with red lipstick smeared all over my face. When I poked my head out of the bunk upon arriving in Frankfurt this morning, the first thing I saw was Ewa also poking her head out of her bunk, holding up an unidentified bra and saying, "What the hell happened?" * I then had to half clean myself up because I heard that the VKA UK (yes, they flew in this morning...now that's dedication) was out in full force and waiting in front of the venue and I didn't want to scare them. * I stumbled out of the bus with reapplied lipstick and got ready for this beautiful day in Frankfurt. Happy Easter! (The venue here even put Easter baskets for us backstage. Yummy-yum. And psssst - for the people coming to the show tonight - Maggot hid chocolate eggs all over the club. Easter Egg HUNT!!!!!!!)

Pfffff je veux revoir Emilie ! ! ! :'(
j'adore tout ce qu'elle a écris, et la photo est géniale !

Sinon lilipuce m'a dit à propos du livre et du dvd qui sortiront cet été (ou du moins sont décalé à encore plus tard), j'aimerais bien qu'ils sortent une bonne foi pour toute ! (quoique si c'est après mon annif j'aurais une tirelire beaucoup plus pleine...)

J'ai loupé celui de Berlin étant en France...
Je vais peut-être me motiver pour Hambourg le 26...
Ça me tue un peu que le concert à Berlin est été PILE pendant mon retour en France.

Salut Lucina, un bienvenue cordial à DarkFeather ! Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas si bien ton projet musical, depuis combien de temps fais tu de la musique sous MyLucina ?
- Merci beaucoup pour l'invitation ! Nous écrivons depuis 2006... (Là je suis vraiment pas sûr: ) Des femmes ont depuis des décénnies (ou depuis toujours) les mêmes problèmes. Toujours quelque chose à changer :-) . ( Ensuite elle dit un truc avec un miroir Oo ) , pendant quelques minutes, une chanson... Apparaître porté de ce sujet infini et pourtant si amusant, si prometteur. "Douleur très sucrée" était née et c'était donc la première chanson de MyLucina .

Y a t'il encore des noms dignes d'être mentionné dans ce projet artistique et si oui, qui sont-ils et que font-ils ?
- Tout est de moi :-)

Tes chansons et leurs structures brillent dans la profondeur émotionelle, portant, les comparaisons sont difficiles à trouver... ainsi : comment décrirais-tu exterieurement ta musique ?
- "A wish is justement a teardrop away..."
Ma musique se retrouve exactement dans cet assortiment... elle est triste... mélancolique... et elle indique -même si tu es très triste- n'abandonne jamais !

Tes lyrics sont très profondes. Qui t'inspire au/pas "Songwritting" ? Quel processus éprouves-tu avec cela ?
- Merci! C'est aussi très important pour moi! Toutes les chansons ont leur propre histoire, et je trouve personellement, qu'il y'a beaucoup de bonnes chansons, mais quelques unes dont le texte me touche profondément.
La vie m'inspire mais -oui!- aussi la mort! Ce sont des moments tout à fait divers et jusqu'à maintenant personne ne se répétaient... Je ne peux pas décrire le processus... Car chaque chanson est extraordinaire, et pour moi, n'est pas comparable.

Tu as publié ton CD du début l'année passée. Es-tu contente des réactions et comment les prends-tu ?
- Oui, et je suis très enthousiaste que mon CD 6-tracks ne soit pas non seulement dans toute l'Europe mais qu'il soit aussi commandé aux USA &en Asie ! ( Ensuite elle parle de son Myspace mais je comprend pas, elle parle d'aide et de soutient ) .

Je peux m'imaginer que beaucoup de te mettent en rapport avec Emilie Autumn. Est-ce pour MyLucina plutôt une malédiction ou une bénédiction ?
- Emilie Autumn &les Bloody Crumpets sont une bénédiction absolue !

Y a t'il des priorités tout à fait claires ?
- Jusqu'à maintenant, heureusement, je ne devais mettre aucune priorités.

( Là j'arrive pas à traduire la question mais ça parle de live )
- Il n'y a pas de lives, il y'avait déja certaines demandes -dont des festivals- mais je me concentre juste sur mes nouvelles chansons. ( Et là elle parle de 6chansons produites mais j'ai pas compris plus ).

Tu montres aussi la présence et le drapeau au sujet de la protection des animaux. Jusqu'à quel point va ton engagement ou plutot vois-tu les possibilités du réalisable ?
- Oui la protection des animaux est un sujet important ! Les animaux ne peuvent pas se défendre tout seuls -mais les gens donnent infiniement de leur personne- . Je garde les yeux ouverts et si je vois un animal tourmenté/maltraité alors j'informe la protection des animaux !
Certains animaux peuvent être libérés -une petit contribution- et ça tout le monde peut le faire ! Aussi sur internet, on peut attirer l'attention seul avec des liens et des bannières. - Chacun peut le faire aussi ! .
Détourner les yeux est lâche et ça montre l'ignorance des gens.

J'espère que j'ai servi à quelque chose et que c'est assez compréhensible :p
( Et je suis vraiment d'accord avec elle pour ce qui est des animaux )

Subject The First: Reasons for the Postponed/Cancelled Dates

Johnnie
Clapper, formerly half of the Trisol record label and the person who
was acting as my temporary manager and booking agent (and who has been
fired from all positions and whom legal action is being taken against),
had booked those two US dates without my approval of the details or
contracts, but I was happy to honor the dates just the same having been
given the promise that US tour dates between the two dates were being
booked in order to support the two existing dates, and thereby make a
real US tour possible. However, once I arrived in Europe for the
commencement of the European Asylum Tour these weeks ago, I was stunned
to find that no dates other than the NY and LA shows had been booked at
all. This makes it virtually impossible for myself, my Crumpets, and my
crew to play these two dates with such an amount of empty space in
between -- the sheer cost would be ridiculously prohibitive. I was
disappointed and terribly saddened to have to cancel/postpone these two dates, especially as I had expected a whole US tour to take place during that time.


Subject The Second: Refunds

I have only just learned today that some tickets for these shows were being sold through Ticketmaster/the venues, with some others being sold by a service called TicketAsylum.com.
TicketAsylum.com was being run by Johnnie Clapper, with all proceeds going directly into his own personal PayPal account.
I have nothing to do with TicketAsylum.com,
and never authorized the sale of tickets or any other merchandise
through this service in any way. I do not run the site, have not
authorized the site, and have received no money from anything sold on
the site.

I hope that anyone of you who have purchased tickets from the venues/Ticketmaster
have been able to get refunds, and I will be looking further into that
in the next day (I've only just arrived home from the tour where I had
little opportunity for phone/internet access), and will report back on
any details that will be of help to you in getting full refunds for any
tickets purchased.

As for any tickets purchased from TicketAsylum.com,
I can only direct you to Johnnie Clapper directly in order to be
refunded. I have no further connection with Johnnie Clapper, and never
authorized or knew about these sales.

I can do nothing but express my deepest regret for the cancellation/postponement
of these two US dates, and to apologize for the immense inconvenience
this causes to all of you who have already purchased tickets, or were
planning on coming to the shows. I can assure you that this is even
more disappointing to me than it is to you.


However!
I am also extremely pleased to announce to you all that more reputable,
reliable, and honest staff are being put into place as we speak, and
that a more extensive US tour, as well as dates worldwide, are being
planned for the very near future. I hope that we will be playing the
Highline Ballroom and the KeyClub as part of this upcoming US tour, and
we all promise to bring you the show of a lifetime.


I hope you will accept my apologies and understand this very difficult situation that I have found myself thrust into.

Et, quant à Johnnie, on comprends mieux pourquoi à son départ le site à été fermé et des remboursements on été demandé ..

Tout s'explique... et le fait qu'elle l'ait renvoyé est tout simplement justifié ! C'est quand même surprenant que Johnnie la volait, mais ce qui est incroyable, c'est qu'il ait osé créer carrément un magasin TicketAsylum.com, et le signaler sur le forum, alors qu'Emilie allait forcément s'en apercevoir ! Il a lui-même signé sa "démission" en faisant ça presque ! Bref, je suis content de connaître la raison de tout ceci.

Et j'espère que les muffins américains auront bientôt leur tournée aux US qu'ils attendaient tous depuis très longtemps, et je leur souhaite plein de plaisir, en espérant qu'Emilie vienne nous rendre visite juste après ! ^^

C'est histoire de mettre du piquant dans le spectacle ! lol
Ça me fait aussi un peu penser à une vidéo du même morceau en live, où des mec de l'équipe s'amusaient à danser derrière les écrans, avec des oreilles de mickey, et à la fin, Emilie, au milieu des paroles, lâche un gros "What the fuck is that ?!" en rigolant. x)

C'est vrai que c'est assez ... troublant de voir... un homme ^^
Mais bon, comme l'a dit Dark-Red, je pense que c'est pour rigoler et puis d'ailleurs, on le voit bien dans leur attitudes, même si Emilie est très provocante le monsieur semble avoir pas mal d'auto-dérision =)

Limite ce sera le premier CrumpetMan de la troupe:)
